Country Market to open Aug. 27

Geneseo Country Market will open at 6 a.m. Aug. 27.

Located on Route 6 in the former Eagle/Jewel building, Geneseo Country Market originally was scheduled to open May 26, but a May 23 fire delayed the opening.

To be eligible for tax rebates from the city for the first seven years of the store’s operation, Geneseo Country Market was required to open by Aug. 31.
