Saturday, Dec. 3

• Galva Food Pantry Open – 9 to 11 a.m. at the pantry, corner of NW Third Ave. and NW Fourth St.

• Free Senior Citizens Christmas Luncheon – 12 p.m. at Galva American Legion (Route 34 on west edge of Galva). Free meal served by legion. Doors open 11 a.m.; serving begins promptly at 12 p.m. Carryout or delivery available for persons who cannot leave home (call Wayne Glisan at 932-2679 or Lloyd Anderson at 932-2509).

• Book Signing – 1 to 4 p.m. at Prairie Arts Center (in Blacksmith Shop), Bishop Hill. Mary Davidsaver signing, reading from and discussing her book, “Clouds Over Bishop Hill.”
