Christmas Walk night full of fun in Woodhull

Horse-drawn carriage rides will be one of the many attractions at this year's Christmas Walk in Woodhull, to be held Friday, Dec. 9.

The annual Christmas Walk in Woodhull is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. and includes a variety of events.

There will be horse-drawn carriage rides, music on Main Street by D.J Dave, a soup supper at the fire station as well as a bake sale by Scout Pack 144, hot fresh kettle corn, the AlWood Art Club will sell hot chocolate, and Harvest Bible Chapel will serve refreshments.

There will also be drawings for gift cards from local businesses.

A feature will be the horse-drawn carriage arrival of Santa at 5 p.m. Santa will then be at Clover Library to greet children until 7 p.m.

These businesses will also be at the library: AlWood Lions Club; St. John Catholic Church (make and take crafts); and Thirty-One, Tena Anseeuw.

There will be 50/50 raffle drawings with proceeds going to the AlWood Lions Secret Santa and AlWood Food Pantry.

At the Municipal Building will be: Village of Woodhull/WINNS committee; Pampered Chef, Jessica Trout; Hailee Barham Salon; Scentsy, Kim Williams; Chapter L, PEO; Keller Kreations; Woodhull Winter Wonderland committee; and AlWood Elementary students wreath contest.

Closing ceremonies and music will be at Harvest Bible Chapel at 7:15 p.m.

Handicap parking will be available at the Municipal Building and at the next-door area of the Johnson Excavating building. Parking will also be available on side streets adjacent to North Division Street.

North Division Street from Highway 17 north will be closed from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
