Update: Send off super-sectional team at 12:30 p.m.

The Orion Chargers celebrate their fifth regional title in coach Brent Hutton’s six years as head coach. Orion defeated Stark County to claim the championship on Friday, Feb. 25, in Galva.

Fans are asked to be at Orion High School at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, to send off the boys' basketball team to the first Elite Eight appearance in the program's history. The team will leave at 1 p.m., the student fan buses at 3 p.m. and the adult fan bus at 3:30 p.m., all from the high school.

Tuesday is Charger Day at C.R. Hanna Elementary School. Students and staff are asked to wear red and black to show support for the team. Chargerettes who are planning to go to the game should bring their pom pons to school.

People  interested in going to the super-sectional game between Orion and WInchester may still buy advance tickets at OHS. The office opens at 7:30 a.m.

Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. at the Jacksonville Bowl in Jacksonville. Doors open at 5 p.m. Note that the site is not on the Jacksonville High School campus.
