Novel centers on stirring events in Bishop Hill's early days
Geneseo author Tom Steele again has chosen Henry County as the background for his latest publication.
Steele’s newest book is an historical novel entitled “The Pied Piper of Sweden, Murder at Bishop Hill.” The book chronicles the founder of Bishop Hill’s flight from Sweden to America, and his murder in 1850.
“The Pied Piper of Sweden” is published by Llumina Press and sells for $12.95.
Steele is the author of “Muddy Water, Romance and Murder in Henry County” and “Perish, Murder in Wicker Park.”
His newest book is available at Carousel Corner in downtown Kewanee and at Amazon.com.
