Dinner in Galva park moved ahead a night; GBEMS fund-raiser

City Limits Bar and Grill will provide the food at the next dinner in the park in downtown Galva on Tuesday, Aug. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Park.

The date is one day earlier than scheduled, due to a Galva Lions Club dinner on Aug. 11.

The menu is fried chicken, cole slaw and potato salad, for $7. Drinks are $1.

The event is a fund-raiser for the Galva-Bishop Hill Emergency Medical Service, who will have an ambulance and  equipment on display.

Free blood pressure tests will also be given.
