Girls can learn beauty tips at royalty 'boot camp'
Area girls ages 3-10 are invited to enjoy a fun and educational one-day “Princess Boot Camp” hosted by past and present Henry County Fair Royalty at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19 in the Art Hall at the Henry County Fairgrounds, Cambridge.
At the event, attendees – who do not need to be Henry County residents – will learn some very helpful tips that will assist them if they plan to compete in pageants or if they just want to be a princess for a day.
The $30 entry fee includes a “Boot Camp” t-shirt, a tiara, snacks, a photo session with a 4x6 picture and a goody bag to take home.
The cost for a second child from the same household is $25.
Fun activities planned for the day include a Princess Boot Camp obstacle course, practice interviews, modeling and pivots, on-stage questions, getting “crowned” with a tiara for a fun photo session and more.
Entry forms are due by Monday, Aug. 30.
For questions or to obtain an entry form, email to hcfqueenpageant@hotmail.com or call Kelli Patton at 944-7743 or Kim Cathelyn at 944-2284.
