2009 Galva Harvest Days Pageant royalty (from left) Josie Berry, Erika Edmonds and Rachel Holt are encouraging Galva School District girls to enter this year’s event, to be held Oct. 9.

The second annual Galva Harvest Days Pageant will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Galva High School gymnasium.

This event is hosted by the Galva Area Chamber of Commerce and provides girls of all ages a platform to serve our community in many areas as volunteers and opportunities with service organizations.

All girls 7 to 19 years old in the Galva School District are eligible to enter.

Entry forms must be turned in to Galva Regional Veterinary Services by Sept. 24. Please include a head shot photo no larger than 4x6 and a check for $10 made payable to Galva Area Chamber of Commerce.

“The past year has been such a great experience socializing, representing, and getting to know the people of Galva,” said Erika Edmonds, reigning Galva Harvest Day Pageant Queen. “It has been an honor to hold the title of Galva Harvest Queen.”
