Spinning, weaving and more at spin-in

The 30th Annual Bishop Hill Fiber Guild Spin-In will be held Saturday, Oct. 16 at Black Hawk East College.

Workshops in the morning and afternoon will give those in attendance opportunities to experience many seminars.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. The $18.50 pre-registration ($21.50 at the door) includes beverages, snacks and lunch.

Bring your spinning wheel and items for Viewer’s Choice voting.

Vendors will be on hand to fill fiber or equipment supply needs and answer questions.

To register, send your name, address, phone number, and $18.50 registration fee (checks made payable to Bishop Hill Fiber Guild) to Char Rickey, 6719 N. Parkwood Drive, Peoria, IL 61434. Early registration is not required; however, is recommended to reserve a spinning chair.
