Altona church women share Valentines poem, public speaking experiences

The Mary-Martha Circle of Women at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altona met on Feb. 9 in the church lounge with 11 members and Pastor Tim Anderson present.

Leader Sue Johnson, opened the meeting with a Valentine poem. The opening hymn, More Love to Thee, was accompanied by Sue Johnson.

Devotions were give by Eunice Wurl and included several readings. Pastor Anderson led the Bible Study, “Members of the Body,” from the Bible story of Moses.

The day’s warm-up question asked attendees to share and show and tell experiences that involved speaking in front of people.

Pastor Anderson pronounced the Benediction and Dorothy Appell served refreshments.
