Local 'star dancing' returns to GHS

Waltzing with the Wildcats, Season 3, will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Galva High School, starting at 7 p.m. The event is a local version of Dancing with the Stars.

Tickets are $5 (includes one vote) and are available at all Galva banks, Galva Pharmacy, Galva Physical Therapy & Rehab, Galva High School and at the show. Additional votes are available for $1 per vote the night of the show.

Motorbiscuit will be providing pre-show, intermission and post-show entertainment.

The Galva After-Prom committee will be providing dessert/drink for $2 during intermission.

Dancers include defending champions Lexy and Dan Rux; first-season champions Scott Caravello and Shelby Jacobson; Season 2 runners-up Gary Edmonds and Amanda Porsche; David Morland and Taylor Morland; Jon DeBord and Miranda Boss; Clay Haurburg and Michelle Warner; Chuck Deahl and Kati Smith; Tyler Dennison and Nicole Thomson; Jeremy Trill and Kelsi Dehler; Greg Anderson and Ryan Calef-Gartin; Wes Ekstedt and Geri Lister; Spencer Clark and Shannon Clark, and Zach Hardy and Sami Miller.

Emcees will be Jason Bates, Karissa Nash and Travis Spivey.

Judges are Kevin Yepsen, Ralph Haga, Lynda Anderson and Sami Robbins.

The evening is hosted by the Galva High School dance/drill team, reigning state champions.
