Swimming pool fees, events announced

The Galva swimming pool opened for the 2009 season on Saturday.

Pool hours are noon to 7 p.m. seven days a week. Family nights are 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays.

Daily fees are:

*0-7 years old: $2.50 (includes swim diaper; disposable diapers are not allowed)

*8-17 years old: $3

*18 and older: $3.50

Season passes are:

*In-district individual: $50

*Out-of-district individual: $80

*In-district family: $70 first two people and $3 each additional

*Out-of-district family: $105 first two people and $10 each additional

Swim lessons are June 15-26, July 6-17 and July 27-Aug. 7. Times are yet to be determined. Cost is $25 for district residents and $30 for out of district. If more than three children from the same family register, fee reduces $5 per child.

Adult water aerobic classes will be held 7 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays in July and August.
