Future Lady Leafs hit the floor at camp

The Geneseo High School girls’ basketball program held its annual summer camp for girls in grades three to eight this past week.
At the camp, the girls learned dribbling, passing and shooting techniques and went through different drills to improve their skills.
Members of the high school basketball teams served as counselors for the camp sessions.
The first session of camp was for girls entering grades three to fifth.
Third graders participating in camp were Alexa Anderson, Josie Brown, Emma Burke, Kiersten Cathelyn, Jenna Cheek, Shelby Holley, Adia Raya, Virgina Ruffo, Emily Smit, Bailey Spindel and Tori Verbeck.
Fourth graders included Bryann Brophy, Hailey Craig, Heather Dietrich, Veronica Eilers, Elisabeth Graft, Lauren?Henderson, Lauren Murray, Abby Ries, Jane Thomas, Katie Watkins, Gabrielle Weber, Andie Welch, Syndey Willaert and Emma York.
The fifth graders taking part in camp were Emma Alexander, Danielle Clary, Sally DeBrock, Jenna Decker, Lindsey Francque, Halee Gorden, Lynsey Gradert, Sydney Himmelman, Kayla Johnson, Ally Klein, Maddie Mackey, Jessica Matzen, Morgan May, Gracie McAvoy and Abigail Zobrist.
The second session of camp was for girls entering grades six to eight.
The sixth graders participating in camp were Caitlin Akers, Jaci Bergles, Alaine Brucher, Lauren Clark-Holke, Shelby Clary, Tarah Fisher, Rachael Himmelman, Katie Kibler, Grace Madigan, Corey Panicucci, Becca Rapps, Sierra Sommer, Dana Storm, Emma Vandemore and McKinsey Walters.
Seventh graders included Kamber Causemaker, Megan Dale, Jessica Daly, Kelsey Etter, Hannah Evans, Carlie Newton, Hannah Pace, Bailey Ries, Genna Wethington and Abby Wilebski.
The eighth graders taking part in camp were Audrey Anderson, Molly DeBrock, Jamie DeFauw, Darci Dietrich, Ashley Farrell, Macey Gradert, Abby Marmion, Sierra Ricketts, Danielle Weber, Rori Westerlund and Alissa Zobrist.
