Little ones will reign over Galva's Fourth festivities

The Galva Freedom Fest Committee is hosting a Little Miss Sparkler and Mr. Firecracker contest. Boys and girls ages 3-7 years old are invited.

Winners will be chosen based upon the amount of money donated in cans bearing their photos at various Galva businesses.

The boy and girl who receive the most donations in their name will be named Mr. Firecracker and Little Miss Sparkler, respectively, and be asked to ride in a car in the July 4 parade.

To enter, submit an entry form and three photos of each child, all at City Hall. Entry forms can be picked up at City Hall or by calling Lynda Anderson at 853-7195.

The public an vote on their favorites by donating in the cans June 15-28.
