Two Cambridge girls enter Junior Miss contest

Twenty-seven girls from all areas of Henry County will via for title of Junior Miss Henry County Fair during the pageant contest to be held starting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, in the grandstand at the Henry County Fairgrounds.
Two Cambridge girls will compete for the pageant title during the competition.
Taylor Reed, 12, will be entering seventh grade in the fall at Cambridge Junior High School. She enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, track and soccer in the Cambridge schools. She has also taken tumbling and dance since she was three years old.
The fair is always an enjoyable time for Taylor. She and two of her great friends danced at the Henry County Fair Talent show last year and received first place. They were very excited to represent Henry County in Springfield at the state competition this past January.
She also enjoys being a part of 4-H and showing bucket calves and goats at the fair. In Springfield last summer, she earned first place at the state level in 4-H for her floriculture project.
She enjoys babysitting, snow skiing, drawing, listening to music on her ipod and making silly videos with friends and her brother Brockton. She is the daughter of Brent and Christi?Reed of Cambridge.
Marisa Schnowske, 12, will be attending seventh grade at Cambridge Junior High this fall. She participated on the junior high volleyball team and basketball team this year. She is currently playing girls’ softball for Cambridge in the Tri-County League.
Marisa is a member of the Cambridge Champs 4-H Club and Girl Scout Cadets. She loves taking tumbling lessons at Flipside Tumbling in New Windsor.
She enjoys swimming, being active in extra curricular activities, bicycling, riding dirt bikes around the farm with her younger brothers, sewing, taking oil painting lessons from her Nana Joyce, writing short stories, and spending time with her family and friends.
Marisa loves the ocean and hopes to live in Hawaii someday and be a marine biologist. She is the daughter of Travis and Deyonne Schnowske of Cambridge.
