Garden stroll scheduled

Joyce Hollar stands under a newly installed trellis and many different types of plants and also a pond that adorn the back yard of the home located at 125 North Main Street,?Cambridge. The Hollars will be one of four gardens tourists can visit during the Cambridge Main Street Light Brunch and Garden Stroll that will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon in four different locations throughout Cambridge. The light brunch from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. will be held for tourists at the home of Bill and Judy Schehl located at 311 South Road, and the tour will also feature the gardens of Rose Saulnier’s located at 108 West Good Street, and Bob and Linda Lindburg’s garden located at 307 South East Street.

?  Cambridge Main Street has announced that tickets are available for the 2009 Light Brunch and Garden Stroll Saturday, July 11 throughout Cambridge.

 The morning will begin with a light breakfast of fruit, rolls and coffee outdoors from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Bill and Judy Schehl’s yard and garden area, located at 311 South Road, Cambridge. 

 The public is then invited to enjoy a morning stroll through four area gardens located in and around Cambridge from 8:30 a.m. to noon. 

 Gardens included in the stroll will include the Schehl residence along with the gardens of Bob and Linda Lindburg, 307 S. East Street; Rose Saulnier, 108 W. Good Street; and LeRoy and Joyce Hollar, 125 N. Main street.

  Tickets are available from a Cambridge Main Street Volunteer, The Flower Basket, Hair Etc., or the Cambridge Main Street office located at 132 West Center Street. For further information about the event, contact the Main Street office at 937-2633.
