Family nights begin at Galva church

First Baptist Church in Galva is inviting the public to its Thursday Family Night, held every Thursday as of Jan. 21.

The evenings, held 6 to 8 p.m., include a meal together and Bible classes for kids and adults alike.

A donation of $2.50 per person or $6 per family is asked each week to offset the cost of the meal.

Classes are for kids in grades 1-6, and a Bible Study for adults.

The children will begin an exciting new journey with the Willie George Ministries program, which includes puppets, a candy store and a post office. Children will be able to earn Willie George Bucks, which can be used to purchase candy at the candy store. At the post office, children can send and receive letters to and from American soldiers and missionaries.

If you plan to attend, please call the church at 932-2713 before Jan. 19, so organizers have an idea of how many people to cook for. If you don’t visit Jan. 21 but wish to do so later, feel welcome.
