State-level Democrats may be at it

The Henry County Democrats Central Committee has invited several state-level candidates to their Meet and Greet to be held 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 at the Pioneer Club in Kewanee.

Governor Pat Quinn, Lieutenant Governor candidate Sheila Simon and Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias have been invited and plan to attend if their schedules allow.

Treasurer candidate Robyn Kelly, Comptroller candidate David Williams and Congressman Phil Hare are all expected to attend.

State Rep. candidate Elizabeth Double, Henry County Sheriff candidate Tim Wise and State Supreme Court Justice Thomas Kilbride are likely to be present.
