Games of new Galva/ROWVA football co-op on radio

A Galesburg radio station, AM 1590 WAIK, has announced it will broadcast the entire 2010 football schedule for the Mid-County Cougars, the new Galva/ROWVA/Williamsfield co-op.

Each game will be broadcast on Saturday morning, the day after each game.

Jason Bates, of Galva, will provide the play-by-play for Cougars football. He has been broadcasting area high school football games for the past 10 seasons for various radio stations.

In addition to being on the radio, each broadcast will also be available online at www.1590waik.com.
