Peoria minor league lights will shine on Galva-Williamsfield boys

The Galva-Williamsfield high school baseball team will get an opportunity to play on a minor league field this season, playing North Fulton High School at O’Brien Field, the home of the Peoria Chiefs, on Monday, April 18.

 Tickets for the game, which will begin at 6 p.m., are now on sale. Galva and Williamsfield high schools each have 100 tickets available. Cost is $10 each.

The ticket purchase includes a special deal: free admission to the Peoria Chiefs’ game against the Clinton Lumberkings at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 22. Save ticket stubs for the free admission.

The ticket sales will also benefit the G-W baseball team: ech ticket will net the team $4, to be used for equipment and other needs. If all 200 tickets are sold, the team will raise $800.

Purchase tickets at Galva High School or Williamsfield High School.
