Poll: It's Cubs over Cardinals, barely

Doug Boock

The Chicago Cubs edged the St. Louis Cardinals as the favorite major league baseball team among respondents to a Galva News poll this past week.

According to the poll, which ended at galvanews.com on May 24, 50 percent of respondents like the Cubs as their favorite baseball team. Closely second was the Cardinals, who received 41 percent of the vote. No voters chose the Chicago White Sox or any other major league team. A small percentage – 8 percent – said they do not like major league baseball.

This week’s poll asks how close to city limits respondents would like to see wind turbines be built. To vote, visit our homepage at galvanews.com.
