Still calling for possible 60 degrees tomorrow, then back to moderate temps

The National Weather Service says temperatures in the Galva area could hit 62 degrees on Tuesday.

That welcome warm-up should stay for a couple days or so, then drop back to more-normal temperatures, the NWS says.

Here's the current forecast for Galva:

This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a temperature falling to near 32 by 9pm, then rising to around 38 during the remainder of the night. South wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 62. Breezy, with a south wind between 20 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy and breezy, with a low around 47.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon. Cloudy and breezy, with a high near 59.

Wednesday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 46.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.

Saturday: A slight chance of rain. Mostly sunny, with a high near 49.
