St. Malachy's youth to present Living Stations of the Cross

Jacob Verplaetse, center, (as Jesus) with Connor Lillis (as Simon) and Kylee Gehl (as the weeping woman), rehearse their parts for the Living Stations of the Cross to be presented from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at St. Malachy Church. Teen members of St. Malachy's Youth Ministry will stage the dramatic story of the crucifixion. The presentation, which includes music, is under the direction of Joe DePauw. Lance Carroll is director of youth ministry at the church. Members of the public are welcome to the production which includes 14 scenes portraying Christ's journey to the cross at Calvary.
