Geneseo Artwalk a success

Dennis Carlson, Bettendorf, demonstrated the art of woodcarving inside State St. Café on Saturday, April 17, at Geneseo’s 2021 ArtWalk.
Lexi Gordon, a junior at Geneseo High School, demonstrated various forms of art, painted sneakers, wood burning and resin art work, in front of Vorac Pharmacy at Geneseo’s ArtWalk.
A popular stop for visitors at Geneseo’s ArtWalk was Dana Gibson’s Spin Art location. Four-year-old Harper Brock gets to be the “artist” by pouring paint on a canvas while dad, Ryan Brock, holds her, and mom, Gloria Brock, does the pedaling.

Inside or outside, young and old, there was something for all ages at Geneseo’s 2021 ArtWalk held on Saturday, April 17. One of many popular stops was in Smith Studio and Gallery where members of the Geneseo High School Art Club were busy demonstrating numerous forms of art. Five-year-old Alice Griswold gets makes an Origami heart with GHS sophomore Elle Corales. The youngster is the daughter of Garrett Griswold and Brittany Griswold.
