John H. Best donation to Galva Historical Society

Ronald and Teri Pankau are pictured with the display their family owned Galva business, John H Best and Sons  fabricated and donated to the Galva Historical Society to hold the cement star from the former Best building in downtown Galva that was torn down.
The cement star was one which was around the top of the old building.  The demolition crew saved one of them and gave it to the Galva Historical Society.
The Ronald and Teri were present Saturday afternoon during an open house held at the Wiley house museum at 906 West Division  in Galva to honor the John H. Best family owned business.
Everyone who attended were treated refreshments which included homemade star cookies.The museum  which is full of Galva items is open on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons from 1 – 4 p.m.
