Andover storm damage

The metal building shown is a shelter for the  horse on the Derrick and Gretchen Appell peroperty. The horse was not in the shelter and was unharmed when the shelter  was moved and demolished.
Pictured is one of the flags on the poles that was damaged on Depot Street in Altona. The winds damaged most of poles during Wednesday’s storm along the street.  Corn was damaged along Route 34 just north of Altona from the winds.
A wind storm went through the North side of Altona last Wednesday afternoon.  Pictured are two trucks in the Derrick and Gretchen Appell driveway which are buried under downed trees.
The Appell’s had many trees and branches down. Two trees in the area were uprooted.
