The Geneseo Police Department has been selling pink tumblers and masks to benefit the Hammond-Henry Hospital Foundation in their annual efforts to raise awareness of breast cancer. The Police Department employees raised over $1,970 from the sales. Police officers and hospital employees at a recent check presentation include, from left, Geneseo Deputy Chief of Police Gene Karzin, Katie Orwig, Hospital Foundation Assistant; Darcy Hepner, Hospital Foundation Manager; and Police Chief Casey Disterhoft. A limited number of tumblers and masks are still available at the Police Department and anyone interested is asked to stop at the Police Department, 119 South Oakwood Ave., or call the Department at 309-944-5141. The tumblers are $25 and masks are $5 each. Funds raised will be used in the Women’s Imaging Department at the hospital.
