Volunteers gathered Saturday morning to pick up along the streets and terraces in Galva. They split up in groups and did the Northwest, and Southeast sections of Galva. The Galva Kiwanis Club picked up along Route 34 East of Galva. Several country roads were done near Galva.
The ROSC (Recovery Oriented System of Care) had a group of volunteers and picked up the Southwest section.
The Junior High students were going to pick up the Northwest section of Galva this week but due to the cold weather, will get it done before the end of the school year.

Many bags of trash was picked up during the annual clean-up. Several volunteers pick up weekly year around in Galva when they are out walking. Residents are urged to pick up their property as trash arrives from winds and from littering.
