Food Pantry Volunteer of the Month

Jim Betsworth has been named Volunteer of the Month at the Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry. Betsworth has been volunteering at the Food Pantry for four months, sorting and creating displays in the clothing room. His wife Lisa also is a volunteer at the Food Pantry. He enjoys gardening, bicycling, attending grandkids’ events and playing pickle ball. He said the best thing about volunteering at the Food Pantry is “helping others in the community and working with some amazing people.” He shared his most memorable experience at the Food Pantry as seeing the gratitude on the faces of the guests.
