Coroner's jury says deaths were self-caused

A Henry County coroner’s jury has ruled two recent deaths to be suicides.

The jury ruled the May 8 death of Russell Hanson, 67, of Galva a suicide, with the cause of death being severe head trauma due to gunshot wound.

The coroner’s jury also ruled the death of Michael Minnaert, 23, of  Geneseo to be a suicide with the cause of death a gunshot wound to  the head.
