Mille's effort tops in science meet

Chris Mille took top honors of this year's Galva Junior High School Eighth

Grade Science Fair. His winning project was entitled,"Which Type of Oil

Performs the Best?" He is a member of the eighth period class.

Other first-place winners were Brady Landis (sixth period) and Matt Johnson (third

period).

In the third period class, Hannan Nordstrom and Lauren VanDeVelde

tied for second while Taylor Williams placed third.

In the sixth period class, Tessa Boston was second and Rachel Jeffries third. In the eighth period , Kevin O'Riley placed second and Miranda Olander third.

Lorna Dauw is junior high science instructor.

The projects were on display May 22 prior to orientation in the high school cafeteria.
