ROWVA looks to homecoming fun

ROWVA High School’s 2008 homecoming festivities begin Thursday, Oct. 2 with the King and Queen Coronation at 7 p.m. in the high school gym.

Following coronation, each class will be performing a homecoming skit. The bonfire will follow.

On Friday, Oct. 3, the ROWVA Student Council will kick off its annual homecoming parade. The parade is at 2 p.m., followed by a pep assembly. That night, the A&R Bulldogs football team will play the United Red Storm, starting at 7.

The week’s festivities conclude Saturday, Oct. 4, with a dance from 8 to 11 p.m. in Valbracht Cafetorium. The homecoming court will be announced before the dance, at 7:30 p.m.

Parade line-up begins at 1 p.m. Participants are asked not to throw candy or bring horses or ponies. All parade entries must be registered by 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26.
