Stage classic 'Oklahoma!' lifting curtain at ROWVA

ROWVA High School will present the musical Oklahoma! in the school’s Valbracht Cafetorium on Friday and Saturday, March 20 and March 21, both at 7:30 p.m.

Attendees can look forward to a night with a little romance, cowboys, farmers, and lots of music. A few of the characters you will see are Aunt Eller played by Alyssa Saylor, Curly played by Tim Worrell, Laurey played by Sarah Neill, Will Parker played by Scott Erickson, Jud Fry played by Kasey Potts, Ado Annie played by Amber Brooks, and Ali Hakim played by Ian Stewart.

The performance is directed by Tim Holmes and produced by Terry Reuhmer. It is reportedly appropriate for all ages.

Costs are $7 per adult and $4 per student. Tickets will be available at the door. Groups of 10 or more who come to the show in Western wear will get a $2 per-ticket discount.

The two ROWVA students who can best holler “Yee-Haw!” at a special contest in the gym during activity period next week will win free tickets to the show.
