ROWVA contingent to match wits at state

The ROWVA High School WYSE (Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering) took first place at the sectional competition held at Knox College on March 16.

The team now advances to the state finals at the University of Illinois in Urbana on April 9. This is the second consecutive year that ROWVA has reached the state finals.

Team members are Sawyer Baker, Kristopher England, Corey Knisely, Samantha Krause, Caleb Lepisto, Brittany Munson, Kevin Maloy, Kendra McCue, Holly Pierce, Alyssa Saylor, Barak Schafer, Ben Scott, Adam Simonson, Caleb Stewart and Ian Stewart. Jeff Heinrich is coach.
