Local people granted SAU degrees

St. Ambrose University held its Spring Commencement at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 9, at the i Wireless Center, Moline.

A total of 700 degree candidates, including 485 bachelor’s degree,  201 master’s degree and 14 doctoral students, were recognized during the ceremonies.

Three Galva area residents were among graduates. They are:

Alpha - Daniel Norberg: Bachelor’s degree in Finance-Marketing (magna cum laude)

Galva - Tyler Bates: Bachelor’s degree in Management-Marketing; Sheila Cromien: Graduate’s degree in Educational Administration
