Funeral services for Marilyn Elaine Dutschmann were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 401 E. Main St., Kilgore, Texas. Visitation was noon to 1 p.m. at the church before the service.

Marilyn was born Jan. 18, 1927, to Melvin Charles and Myrtle Melissa Bellscamper Johnston, and passed from this life Dec. 1, 2016 in Tyler, Texas.

She love to dance, and loved being with her family and her church family.

Mrs. Dutschmann was the quintessential volunteer, and had volunteered over 1,000 hours at the hospital alone. She also volunteered at the Oil Museum and the Women’s Shelter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Mark Allen Bullard.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband Thomas Dutschmann; son, Brent J. Bullard; daughters, Betsy Ann (Gypsy) Hammack and Mary Lynn Bullard; grandchildren, Melissa Burton, Casey Dale Hammack, Michael Alan Hall, Austin Gregory Hall, Cody Ashton Hall and Heather Bullard; and great-grandchildren, Kyndall Burton, Jonathan Michael Mosley Hall, Jocelynn Rose Hall, Michael Brighton and Olivia Brighton.
