Susan Bleuer has opened Bleuer Senior Services, LLC, to provide non-medical assistance for seniors who wish to remain in their homes.

Officially opening on Thursday, July 1, the business serves seniors in Henry, Rock Island and Mercer counties.

“It was while caring for elderly grandparents that I first became aware of the need for quality in-home care for our seniors,” Bleuer said.

“Unfortunately, family and friends often live too far away to help, or they may be overwhelmed with too many responsibilities and too little time,” she said. “Bleuer Senior Services, LLC, was created to help fill that need.”

Bleuer will provide respite, companionship, meal preparation, assistance with dressing and grooming, light housekeeping, transportation and more.

These services “assist seniors who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes and provide peace of mind to family members,” Bleuer said.

Caregivers who need respite, seniors who need assistance and family members who are concerned about loved ones may contact Bleuer Senior Services, LLC, at (309) 593-4335 or 582-4605 to schedule a free in-home assessment. They will receive 20 percent off their first day’s services.
