Writer praises Foster for interest in county

Representative Bill Foster is a great change for Henry County. He is a businessman and a scientist whose first run for office sent him to Congress in March. Thankfully, he has not forgotten who elected him to office and who he represents in Congress.

I was pleased to learn that Rep. Foster returns to our district each week to meet with constituents, attend community functions and listen to the voices of his district.

I recently talked with him when he came to Geneseo to meet with constituents at Fareway. That was his second stop in Henry County that day having been in Cambridge earlier.

It was apparent that Bill Foster has a genuine concern for the people and wants to know what is on your mind. He deserves a lot of credit for listening to the people he represents and taking our voices to Washington. I believe we made a very good choice last March.
