It’s time to celebrate! Main Street Orion is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year as an active part of the community. As a member and president of Main Street Orion, I am writing to express my support for the program and I invite all community members to join with us in our celebration this year.

We are planning several exciting activies, including the Daddy-Daughter Dance, community yard sales, movies and concerts in the park, the Bill Allred concert, and special entertainment as part of the new Fall Festival.

I am proud to show visitors the tangible effects Main Street Orion has had on the aea through the wide variety of entertainment and services Main Street Orion offers to everyone in a village such as ours. Of course, the greatest benefit goes to members of the community, both residential and commercial.

Orion, in the last 10 years, has gained amazing benefits from the program, benefits which cannot be replaced easily if Main Street Orion does not exist. I urge residents to become members of the organization and I urge the village board to continue fully supporting Main Street Orion through its traditional funding of the program. The community would sorely miss the many benefits which Main Street offers; I know I would.
