Pulling off an upset for the fourth week in a row, Little Johns won the championship of the Men’s League on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Valley View golf course near Cambridge.

In the last week of the regular season, Little Johns had spoiled Phillips’ bid at an undefeated record.

Little Johns upended top-seeded Phillips again in the quarterfinals.

An upset of fourth-seeded Cambridge Pattern in the semis put Little Johns into the finals.

Team members are John Catour, Scott Palmer, Chris Metz, Rod Ward, Bennett Vincent, Brett Carlson, Lee Lookingbill, Jake Blade and Hancock.

In the third-place match, Skellos beat Cambridge Pattern 134-151. Stan Nelson netted 31 for Skellos.
