Fall Fest games attract youth

    On a sunny, warm afternoon, dozens of young athletes participated in a punt, pass and kick contest, a hitting derby and a 3-point shootout during Orion Fall Festival.

    The events were held on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Orion Middle School.

Results are listed below.

Punt, pass and kick contest

    Ages 7 to 9—1st place, Daimon Zurcher; 2nd place, Logan lee and Alec Nordstrom; and 3rd place, Payton Stropes.

    Ages 10 to 12—1st place, Alex Hawkens; 2nd place, Nathan Jones; and 3rd place, Christofer Dhabalt.

    Ages 13 to 14—1st place, Adam Killion; and 2nd place, Trent Zwicker.

Home run derby

    Ages 7 to 9—1st place, Nick Ortegel; 2nd place, Daimon Zurcher; and 3rd place, Noah Anderson.

    Ages 10 to 12—1st place, Christofer Dhabalt; 2nd place, Bradley Fair; and 3rd place, Bailey McCunn.

    Ages 13 and 14—1st place, Trent Zwicker; and 2nd place, Adam Killion.

3-point shootout

    Ages 7 to 9—1st place, Noah Anderson; 2nd place, Daimon Zurcher; and 3rd place, Ann Smolenski.

    Ages 10 to 12—1st place, Julian Pearson; 2nd place, Baillie McCunn; and 3rd place, Christofer Dhabalt.

    Ages 13 and 14—1st place, Trent Zwicker; 2nd place, Adam Killion; and 3rd place, Anni Keleher.
