ROWVA prettiest in pink

Before a pink-clad “Volley for the Cure” crowd at Galva High School, ROWVA defeated the host Lady Cats 25-13, 25-15 on Monday, Oct. 6.

ROWVA improved to 2-5 in the Lincoln Trail Conference, 5-13 overall. Galva dropped to 0-6 in the LTC, 0-16 overall.

Kaylyn Nelson topped ROWVA with five aces, three kills and three digs. Also for the Tigers, Taylor Rice added three digs and three kills; Shelby Hatch had three kills and one block; Sarah DeSchepper had three assists; and Valerie Ericson contributed one block.

Samantha Novotny’s eight digs were high for Galva. Amber Melhouse added a kill for the Lady Cats.
