Galva netters turned back in Annawan

A strong Annawan squad proved to be too much for visiting Galva on Oct. 20, downing the Lady Cats in two volleyball games, 25-8, 25-16.

Miranda Olander led Galva with 3 aces. Nicole Thomson added 1 block and 2 assists. Sam Novotny provided 6 digs and Chloe McIntire contributed 2 kills.

Aron Jackson led Annawan with 5 kills. Lauen Spivey added 6 aces. Chloe VanOpdorp had 13 assists.

Galva remains winless on the season.

Annawan finishes its LTC season at 9-2. The Bravettes are 17-11 overall.

Annawan also won the fresh-soph match, 25-12, 25-10.
