Lady Aces cap sterling LTC season

AlWood closed out its Lincoln Trail Conference season with a sterling 10-1 record on Oct. 20 after defeating ROWVA in Woodhull, 25-17, 25-19.

Stephanie Williams recorded 3 digs, 10 assists, 10 kills and 2 blocks to lead AlWood. Also chipping in were Michelle Williams with 10 kills and 3 aces; Dani Lessard with 4 digs, 11 service points and 2 aces; Cassie Williams with 11 assists, and Dana DeSutter with 2 blocks.

Sarah DeSchepper led ROWVA with 7 digs, 5 assists, 7 service points and 3 aces. Shelby Hatch added 7 kills and 1 block. Holly Pierce registered 1 block and 7 service points.

AlWood finishes its LTC season at 10-1.

The Lady Aces, 20-8 overall, hosted Westmer on Oct. 21. Results were not available at press time.
