Galva girl brings home trophies from national meet

Alli Hagerty of Galva displays two trophies she won at the USTA National Tumbling and Trampoline competition held in Amarillo, Texas the week of June 15. She competed in two events: trampoline and double-mini trampoline. She placed 10th in the sub-avanced 11-12-year-olds on the trampoline and 8th on the double-mini 11-12-year-old intermediate level. There were 108 teams at the event. To participate, Alli had to place in the top 10 at the state competition held in Romeoville in April. Daughter of Todd and Amy Hagerty, she is coached by Sarah Oldeen of Patti’s Gym. That gym will have several area kids competing in August at the the AAU Junior Olympics competition in Des Moines, IA.
