Kovacik's effort helps, but not enough

Kelsey Kovacik racked up 20 points but it was not enough to avert a 51-42 Orion win over ROWVA on Dec. 21 in Oneida.

ROWVA trailed 27-22 at the half and closed the gap to within three after the third quarter. But the Chargers answered in the fourth by outscoring the Tigers 12-6.

Megan Blumenshein led Orion with 17 points.
