48-point barrage: Ott buries Spartans

Williamsfield high-scoring senior Alex Ott scored a career-high 48 points Dec. 30, powering the Bombers to a 78-63 win over Ridgewood at Cambridge.

Ott scored 18 in the first half and followed with 30 points in the final 16 minutes to tally the highest scoring game in the area this year and lead Billtown to an 11-point lead after leading by just three.

Ott, who did not have a 3-pointer in the game, also grabbed a game-best 14 rebounds.
