Ridgewood girls grab key LTC matchup

Fifth-ranked Ridgewood soared past No. 7 ranked Annawan 73-52 in a crucial Lincoln Trail Conference matchup on Jan. 6, thanks to another balanced-scoring effort.

“We talked before the game and said, ‘Win or lose this game was going to gauge our season,’” Ridgewood coach Bryan Brooks said.

“This was the game for us to see where we are at,” he added. “It was a solid win for us and was a conference win for us, which sets us up better in the conference.”
