Kelsey Kovacik scored a game-high 22 points to lead ROWVA past Mercer County 59-37 in a Lincoln Trail Conference girls basketball game at Oneida on Jan. 6.
ROWVA (7-9) took a 27-19 halftime lead and was never threatened.
“The girls are real good about keeping themselves focused,” ROWVA coach Heidi Libby said. “We had some nice fast breaks and nice looks at the basket.”
Courtney Eklund finished the night with 12 points, eight rebounds and seven steals and Marysa Remick tallied 12 points for the Tigers.
“Courtney stepped up defensively tonight and came up with some good steals,” Libby said.
