Youngsters compete in Kid’s Races

The Maple City 4 Race event also featured the annual children’s one mile and quarter-mile races on the Geneseo High School track.

The mile race results are as follows by age division:

Girls 9 and under: Brynn Johnson, first, 7 minutes and 40 seconds; Olivia Frail, second, 7:52; Megan Soria, third, 7:53; Lauren?Belvel, fourth, 8:02; Rachel Cook, fifth, 8:39; and Anna Pierce, 8:46.

Girls age 10: Hannah?Soria, first, 7:01; and Emily Pobanz, second, 7:04.

Boys 9 and under: Jordan Seeley, first, 7:21; Luke Henkhaus, second, 7:41; Seth Winchell, third, 8:58; and Jackson McLaughlin, fourth, 10:02.

Boys age 12: Adam Neuwohner, first, 10:10.

The quarter-mile race results are as follows by age division:

Girls 4 and under: Addy Keenan, first, 2:07; Jeslen Rink, second, 2:16; Jessa Gramling, third, 2:46; and Erika Cotty, fourth, 2:59.

Girls 5 to 6: Tori McCubbin, first, 1:37; Hanna Stroud, second, 1:45; Ellie Keenan, third, 1:47; Alexis Manthe, fourth, 1:49; and Madison Winchell, fifth, 2:12.

Girls 7 to 8: Olivia McCubbin, first, 1:31 and Elizabeth Manthe, second, 1:32.

Boys 4 and under: Dylan Cotty, first, 2:21; Joshua Anderson, second, 3:06; and Jack Mickley, third, 3:08.

Boys 5 to 6: Jase Johnson, first, 1:37; Caine Carterfield, second, 1:42; Caleb Carterfield, third, 1:51; Mason Goossens, fourth, 2:02; Russell Brown, fifth, 2:04; and Brock Jensen, sixth, 2:13.

Boys 7 to 8: Pierce Anthony, first, 1:34; Andrew Cotty, second, 1:40; Isaac Kuster, third, 1:44; Aidan Grafft, fourth, 1:47.
